IPAF courses are available in many languages. These are designed for operators, installers, supervisors and demonstrators. They cover a range of MEWPs including telehandlers, mast climbing work platforms and construction hoists.
A PAL Card, or Powered Access Licence, is a certificate that proves you have completed high quality IPAF training. This card is the most recognised proof of training for platform operators.
What Is IPAF Training
Your PAL Card is valid for five years, depending on the country. To renew your PAL, you must complete a course and take a test. You can find a list of IPAF-approved training centres here.
Upon completion, you will be issued your PAL digitally via an app called EPAL. The PAL app is free to download. Using it allows you to track your progress and report an incident anonymously.
If you are looking to improve your health and safety standards, IPAF training is the ideal solution. IPAF courses are developed by leading industry experts and offer a number of different training packages. Each combines theory and practical learning.
In addition to this, IPAF offers a specialist advisory service to support businesses. For example, IPAF members run the majority of the rental fleet of MEWPs.
